I am an international student from Central Africa and I'm currently studying in America. Education can certainly take you far in life, and you will get the opportunity to experience interactions of other cultures. I'm glad you are highly passionate and enthusiastic about meeting other international students and sharing your interest in economics. Nice meeting ya.

It makes sense on a visceral level - the more people (and businesses) want to borrow, the more competition there is for the funds available and thus prices (rates) will go up. As rates go up, it makes it more expensive for people to borrow and thus less do, stabilizing the rate climb. Though I understand how it works, I still can't predict the future and thus I'll usually rely on variable money market funds to catch any upswing in rates.

Wao Infant, thanks a lot for taking the confusion away. I now understand that there is a difference between Money Market and Loanable Funds Market. Money Market is made of Narrow money (M1) ie. C + DD, Broad (M2) C+ DD+ TD and Broader (M3) C + DD + TD + SD. while Loanable Fund Market is the relationship b/w real returns on savings and real price of borrowing with the public's willings to save and borrow. (when the household put Liquid money in Bank then the commercial Banks lend the money out to the public for Investment)
You can still correct me if im wrong.

There is a difference between the money market and loanable funds. The money market includes transaction demand, asset demand and total demand for money. This includes M1, M2 and MZM. The loanable funds market, on the other hand, is where borrowers demand loanable funds and the savers supply the loanable funds. This is a simple supply and demand diagram, where supply (savers) is a direct relationship between interest rates and the supply of loanable funds and the demand (borrowers) is an inverse relationship. The money market has a downward sloping demand for money and a vertical supply of money.
