2008 Sichuan Earthquake - Wikipedia
The following slideshow was sent to my colleague Brian Compton (who forwarded it to me) from his contact at Habitat for Humanity, China. The pictures were all taken in the last 72 hours since the magnitude 7.9 earthquake struck China’s Sichuan province on Monday afternoon this week.
This collection of images tells the story of suffering and despair experienced by the victims of this natural disaster.

Ohhh, my heart is completely torn at the sight of these images
of the destruction in China. I live so far away from this noble
people that I can only pray to the Almighty that they can
someday overcome their tremendous grief and that they can
redo their lives the best they can.
i am deeply sadden by the destruction but compelty furious with the chinese government for hiding the figures and not being truly honest to the rest of the world. it is embrassing at the poor construction that has been used for building schools and public places. it is absolutley shocking and my heart goes ot to all the chinses people for their dead and injured
